April 30 – May 1, 2016
30 Continuous Hours
30 Sonic & Visual Artists

produced by
Dok Gregory, Geoff Kuffner & Chris Jordan

The second event in our trilogy was inspired by the extended ceremonial performances–of days and even weeks–in Balinese and Indian Tradition. And by the power of artists to shift collective experience, to deliver harmony from elements in disturbance.

Cadence 23 was an endurance convergence of underground NYC experimental live audio, live video and performance that moved through 4 acts:

Act 1: Opening Performances and Plan 23 Sonic Cresendo
Act 2: Live Audio Groove Deep into morning
Act 3: Sunrise Ambient Return & the day journey
Act 4: Ritual Close with HISAYASU TAKASHI and KELVIN DALY
