New York, NY. World Trade Gallery and Arts Org NYC are pleased to present OFF THE WALL, a group exhibition of established and emerging contemporary artists with roots in street art, muralism and graffiti. The show runs from Tuesday, March 15 through April 15, 2016 with an opening reception Tuesday, March 15 from 6 – 9 p.m. WT Gallery is located in downtown NYC at 120 Broadway (Cedar Street Entrance).

OFF THE WALL features 15 artists from Arts Org’s mural project in Long Island City, Queens. Curator Joshua B. Geyer highlights the cultural diversity and influences of the artists–hailing from seven countries, not to mention Queens. The show reveals the dynamic range of styles and versatility– from sculpture to abstract painting to eye-stopping photo realism–that emerge as the artists’ creativity flows from the street into the studio. The gallery’s ceiling, for instance, features an exquisite glass & steel chandelier from a series of lightworks by long-time graffiti aficionado Poneros.

Participating artists include: Crash, Daze, Cern, Li Hill, Case Maclaim, See One, Icy & Sot, Cekis, Alice Mizrachi, Marina Zumi, Rubin 415, Werc, Dmote, Erasmo and Poneros.

A percentage of artwork sales will go to support Arts Org’s public mural project in Queens.

World Trade Gallery is located at 120 Broadway (Cedar Street Entrance). Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 10-6, Saturday & Sunday 12-4 and by appointment.
